Bambuda Lodge is located in the tropical rain forest in Bocas del Toro. The property features a coral reef off its dock and a swimming pool with an on-site bar and a fun and social atmosphere. Staying in Bambuda is like being lost in Paradise. I don’t think you can be closer to nature. The gardens are beautiful. Pool area is exquisite with lots of different places to relax at (sunbeds, monkey net, swings, hammocks, sofas). Food is delicious. The staff is very kind and they are always around to help. Everything is well organised and all the buildings are beautifully decorated. Take the free jungle-hike with them in the morning! (Although you can do it on your own as well.) You can rent kayaks too. The whole complex runs on solar energy and rainwater, but there is no shortage, and there was always plenty of hot water. No dangerous animals on the island. I have no words… it was difficult to leave.

The kitchen is very well maintained and equipped. It’s a great place to cook your own meals. We loved to eat outside and watch the waves. We enjoyed that we were able to swim right there, the ocean was very calm and warm that days. Rocio is an excellent host and communication with her was pleasant. The house is 20 minutes walk to famous “sea star beach”, one of the best places on Earth

Such a cute place. Great for relaxing during the day and having fun at night (good for hanging out with the Friday crowd without having to pay for the whole thing). Staff was amazing and very friendly. Lots of spots to sit and chill too!!
