Honestly, the best hostel I've ever stayed at! The owners were the most welcoming, loving and caring people. They made sure to talk to everyone, they even remembered the names of every single person who stayed there at the moment. The whole place was super clean and well kept. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking. The living room is amazing to hang out, watch tv, play games or get to know the other guests (and make some new friends!). Would highly recommend staying there. You would not be disappointed!

Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge & Cafe is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It features a sauna, hot tubs and an on-site cafe. Great facilities, very comfortable and super helpful staff

Showers are consistently hot, which is really needed after a long day of hiking. Kitchen well equipped. Overall this is the perfect hostel to stay in National Park.
