Rummen på Rancho Tranquillo har en sittgrupp. We absolutely loved staying at Rancho Tranquillo. It is right across the lake so you can enjoy swimming and the sunsets. Daniella & Tony are very welcoming and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast made by Daniella. Their property is also so great, there are all types of animals running around and you can pick fresh mangoes from their mango tree. They were also kind enough to let us leave some of our luggage so that we could rent a scooter more easily and travel around the island.

Hostel Clandestino Maderas ligger i Playa Maderas, 6 minuters promenad från Maderas strand och 1,3 km från Marsella strand. This hostel is a hidden gem in paradise. As soon as I got here I felt immediately relaxed. You feel in touch with nature. The room is very cozy as well and not too hot at night. Also, it’s really close to playa maderas.

La Urraca Loca Hostel ligger i Balgue och har en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. Boendet ligger inom 12 km från Volcán Maderas och har grillmöjligheter. Great location in Balgue and the place is surrounded by nature, and despite this it is very clean. The owners are super kind and you can sense their love for this place. Tasty breakfast (homemade bread) and food available at the hostel (good italian food for lunch and dinner as one of the owners is Italian!). They were happy to provide advice and information on what to do in the area. Communal space upstairs was amazing and relaxing. The chickens running around the garden was giving exactly the vibes you get around Ometepe Island. Loved it here.

Hostel Life is Good ligger i Moyogalpa, 39 km från Volcán Maderas, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel. In the evening time they had candles everywhere and lights. It was so beautiful. They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

Everything about this place is great. Best sunset you’ve ever seen. Our private room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Free breakfast is great and very chill atmosphere.

This place is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed so far in Central America. The views, the food, the coffee, vibe and staff are amazing. They have boards for rent or sale, kitchen is well equipped, path down the cliff to the beach, and comfortable beds. We loved that William really took the time to talk to and get to know us on our stay. So good that we didn’t want to leave!

The SPACE Jungle Oasis ligger i San Juan del Sur, en kort bit från Nacascolo, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en restaurang. I love everything about this place, exactly what I needed as a relaxation in between work.

Hostel Julieta ligger i Rivas, 33 km från Cristo de la Misericordia, Nicaragua, och har en terrass. Gratis WiFi finns tillgängligt och privat parkering kan ordnas mot en extra kostnad. Clean hotel with great, friendly hosts. We used the hotel to go to Ometepe Island the next day. Had a room with air conditioning, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and varied.
