It was a really nice experience ! I met many new friends that I hope to see again in Sri Lanka or somewhere else ! Partying together, eating together, going to the beach together Also, the Yoga in the morning is a nice activity offered by the hostel and food is amazing!

I fell in love with that hostel. It is in the middle of the 'jungle', the nature around is amazing, and you can reach the main beach in 10 minutes walk. The halls, the room and the restaurant are also beautifully designed and well maintained. The view from the rooftop is wonderful, you can see cute monkeys on the trees around the house. I had very delicious, fresh breakfasts in the restaurant, the portion is huge also. The Manager and the entire Staff are really friendly and helpful. I felt home there. :-)

EVERYTHING! The most beautiful owner and her gorgeous kids, made me feel at home straight away. The hostel is lovely, with yoga sessions and deliciiious meals available! Judith is a wonderful, kind, bubbly person who’s energy and hospitality made this hostel/homestay my favourite in the whole of Sri Lanka. The location is a good walk out of the centre (maybe 25 mins) , but grabs/tuktuks are cheap and available!

From cooking (well equipped kitchen with lovely flatware) to entertainment (books and a big speaker you can hook up with your phone). Beautiful garden and clean dorm and bathroom.

Amazing location, comfortable stay, super helpful people. I loved my stay there. They have canoes and bicycles for guests to use for free. It’s so beautiful to wake up in a forest next to a lake and canoe for thing in the morning. Morning view on the lake is magical, don’t miss it!

Terletak di Ahangama, 7-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Ahangama, Farming Hostel Ahangama menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan lounge berkongsi. This place is a little gem! A little away from the busy main road but still everything in Ahangama is in walking distance and some restaurants and beach is just in the neighborhood. It s a peaceful quiet place with a huge garden and the friendliest owner ever! She cooked every day amazing and tasty local food for me and really made me feel like home! I could have not find a better place in Ahangama. Thank you again... Highly recommended!

It's super affordable and has all you need. The guys running it are super nice and care for you. They just started like 2 months ago. They also own the great restaurant in the front.

Exceptionally hospitable (but not at all overbearing) staff, spacious and tastefully designed room (I was in a private double), very well-kept and clean grounds, lovely cafe… there’s really nothing I didn’t like. It’s very new and the motivated staff is working hard to work out the details

Terletak di Ahangama, 5-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Kabalana, KA Surf Hostel menawarkan bilik berhawa-dingin dan taman. I stayed in a private room. But by far the best room I’ve stayed in hostels! The big bed was super comfy & the water pressure and air con was so strong (things I’ve struggled to find in Sri Lanka). More so the owners really make this place! It’s family owned, and you can tell they really care about their new business. Breakfast is lovely served with coffee/tea, fruit and different mains every day. They go above and beyond to help with any request you have. I wish them and their business all the best :)
