The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful! They have the perfect location- close to the beaches. Everything is new and clean and they offer tea and coffee for free. I can 100% recommend a stay at the hummus hostel. They also rescued a little bird, called Falafel :)

Ideally located in the centre of Galle, Tanty’s Hostel offers free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. Staff was sooooo friendly and helpful, community area had a ton of activities and unexpected amenities, there was a cute boutique at the front of the hostel that my sister and I purchased clothes from for gifts etc. These ladies were so nice and caring, helped us get rides and translate when we needed help. Room was nice and location was perfect, right around the corner was the beach, the main road was right there but it wasn't loud at night, and Galle was about a 25 min walk

Amazing location, comfortable stay, super helpful people. I loved my stay there. They have canoes and bicycles for guests to use for free. It’s so beautiful to wake up in a forest next to a lake and canoe for thing in the morning. Morning view on the lake is magical, don’t miss it!

Ideally situated in the centre of Galle, Snooze Station by Sydney Galle features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a bar. The hostel was very clean especially the washrooms and it was definitely value for money since the location was central to all the attractions I wanted to visit. The hostel included an old age arrack bar which was a great addition as I was traveling by myself. Highly recommend this place as it is convenient and provides great accommodation and hospitality for affordable prices.

Quiet hostel with an amazing hosts, Asanka and his family were very helpful. His english is great, he even speaks some german! The room, bed and bathroom were clean but basic. The value you get for the price is a very very good deal. The rice and curry was really delicious, a lot of dishes and big portions for a fair price. The common area (inside or outside) was great to hang out, you could even use it as a working space.
