Different experience we had at Habibi, the hostel located 10 min away from the beach inside the jungle, very chilled sitting area at the roof top where u can see the ocean from two sides surrounded by trees and monkeys jumping around, big thanks to Mousa and Anna for the good time we had at there hostel, we see you guys soon xx

Ideally located in the centre of Galle, Tanty’s Hostel offers free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. The bed is amazing and there is a lot of stuff to do. Even on a rainy day you don't get bored! There is a possibility to cook your own meal and that is really nice

Located in Hikkaduwa, 20 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, TheLakeHostel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This is possibly the best hostel in Sri Lanka, and certainly the best that I've stayed at. I actually extended my stay in Hikkaduwa by 3 nights largely on account of this place. Facilities are very good, especially for the price. Everything is clean, functional and modern. There is none of the bodge work you tend to expect in Sri Lanka. Manager/owner is excellent (helpful, good to talk to etc.). The value for a dorm room is incredible given that you have free access to all the main kitchen facilities (cookers, fridge, kettle, cookware), free access to a canoe and bikes. I also enjoyed the company of those there moreso than other hostels. The location is good as well, only 2.5km from Hikka, there are regular buses along the main road too. There are plenty of local shops & an acceptable gym much nearer than that though. In the off chance that you like running, Baddegama Rd is also the best road for running in Sri Lanka with really nice broad shoulders and generally not too much traffic or dog problems.

Very convenient to have the owner's bar restaurant café opposite the apartment. Very kind and helpful hosts.

Located in Unawatuna, 1.6 km from Dalawella Beach, Hostel Singha Lounge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The hosts were the best! Absolutely gorgeous and engaging Judith, and soft & sweet Isuru. Don't forget their kids :) Also, the fellow travellers there. They were all repeat customers - and for good reason.

The Youth Hostel - It's a Youth Fame features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Ahangama. If you are looking for a fancy hostel stay, this is the right place for you. You have access to all the facilities of the resort, which is amazing. You get a huge breakfast included. After being in hostels for all my travels this was the best option to have some more me time and still pay a suuuuuper good price for it :)
