The in-house restaurant is a game charger fo the lazy days, but there are also many restaurants nearby. There are a lot of activities in the hostel like movie night, karaoke, games and whatever your imagination and moods can bring! There are also cctv for your safety, which is pretty rare to find in Arugam Bay. Last but not least the people! The whole staff is amazing! So friendly and helpful, a prefect combination for a great stay!

I stayed at shine Rise Hostel for a couple of weeks whilst in Arugam Bay and I loved it! The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to help, the hostel was always clean and tidy, beds were comfy towels soft and I made some lovely friends in the chill out areas. The place was on the beach and there have wonderful bar also Location is great We look forward to visit again this place Would definitely recommend.
