The House Hostel is located in Sokcho. Free WiFi access is available. The bus terminal is 5 minutes' walk away. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning. The hostel is very cozy. The kitchen had everything you needed to make every meal comfortable. The room was very clean, there was air conditioning, TV, all bathroom accessories (If you are missing something, there is a vending machine on the floor where you can purchase the missing element of bathroom accessories). The location is very convenient (near bus stops, bus station, Rodeo street, beach, 24-hour store). Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the hostel has a washing machine and a dryer that you can use yourself, which means that you don’t have to worry about any delicate items in your wardrobe, and you don’t have to worry about coins, because you can also change them at the reception.

Aark House is a compact hostel located within a 5-minute drive from Gangneung Train Station (Yeongdong Line). Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Heated blankets for our bunk bed were a cozy touch. The host was also very nice and gave us some recommendations for sights to see and where to eat - including a little fast food place nearby that's open late. Location was walkable to public transit and markets. Nice clean kitchen area and it was great having a desk and a spot to hang clothes in our room.

Located in Sokcho, 1.9 km from Daepo Port, 블루 도어 호스텔 게스트하우스 features a rooftop. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. The owners are very friendly people who helped with a couple of tips. The guesthouse is located directly opposite the beach with a stunning walking area. There are many restaurants and shops around. There is a bus stop within a 10-minute walk that leads to Seoraksan, and it takes 15-20 minutes to get to Seoraksan itself. Their magnificent black dog leaves special emotions, which you just want to hug!

The host was super welcoming and helpful. He gave us a ton of advice. There is a cafe on the ground floor, some restaurants around and the beach is very close by walking.
