Located in just a minute's walk from JR Bungo-Taketa Station, Taketa Ekimae Hostel cue is a renovated wooden accommodation. A garden and terrace are offered for guests' interaction. A wonderful hostel. It's an old Japanese style building, which I found very charming. The dorm rooms and the single rooms are fairly spacious (for hostel standards). Everything is very clean and cozy. There are 2 common areas ( one western style and one Japanese style living room), and a kitchen. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Taketa itself is a very quiet, small place. I did some hikes around town and St Mt aso, though public transport to the trailheads is difficult, so plan that we'll. Breakfast was also lovely (especially the French toast were very tasty!) I extended my stay because I so thoroughly enjoyed being there.

The couple living there was so nice. They came to pick us up, and dropped us off the next day at the train station. We were offered a tea with cookies at our arrival, and they informed us about a local festival happening this night. The room and facilities were super neat and clean. Would 100% recommend.

The mix of sleek, modern cement and warm wood created a cutting-edge industrial vibe that was both stylish and inviting. The Japanese design was truly eloquent - everything looked effortlessly cool. Perfect for Budget Travelers 🧳 Despite the designer digs, it was incredibly affordable. The kitchen and showers were sparkling clean, and they had all the amenities you could need. But the real star of the show was the café downstairs! The chef whipped up amazing meals, delicious hot drinks, and even transformed the space into a bar at night, perfect for socializing with fellow travelers. Location, Location, Location! 📍 The hostel's central location was another big plus. It wasn't too far from the train station, making it easy to explore Beppu, the "Hot Springs Mecca" of Japan. Young, Energetic Vibe ⚡️ The overall atmosphere at was cool, laid-back, and full of young, energetic travelers. Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel เป็นพื้นที่ปลอดบุหรี่โดยสิ้นเชิง ที่พักแห่งนี้มีบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สาย (Wi-Fi) ฟรีทั่วบริเวณ อ่างอาบน้ำพุร้อนสาธารณะ และพนักงานที่พูดได้หลายภาษา ห่างจาก JR Yufuin... Good view, comfortable beds, quiet and calm environment. I was here 7 years ago, so I'm so surprised that they maintain the high quality of the accommodation for so long time. Everything is as nice as 7 years ago. Appreciate the great effort by the owner.

Situated in downtown Beppu, International Inn KOKAGE is an old establishment but offers clean and simple Japanese-style rooms. It features free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The private onsen is a plus, we enjoy it very much.

日本旅館 松亀荘 มีบริการห้องพักในเบ็ปปุใกล้ Statue of Kumahachi Aburaya และ Select Beppu ที่พักนี้อยู่ห่างจากสนามกีฬาโออิตะแบงค์โดม 20 กม. ห่างจากสถานีโออิตะ 12 กม. และห่างจากทะเลสาบคินรินโกะ 25 กม. Location was great and room was very comfy. We love the Japanese style ryokan. The facility also has its own onsen and laundromat machines so everything was quite convenient.
