Beautiful town and hostel. The vibe of this place is amazing, very cozy and homy, and the building is a very well preserved historical building. It has great installations and common áreas, the bed was also really comfy and everything was clean. They even offer a special price for the local onsen (wich I also recommend) and a welcome drink (I recommend the homemade plum sake). The hosts were incredibly friendly and they speak english. The breakfast was also really good! I only wished I could have stayed longer!!

Stepping inside felt like walking into a high-fashion magazine. The mix of sleek, modern cement and warm wood created a cutting-edge industrial vibe that was both stylish and inviting. The Japanese design was truly eloquent - everything looked effortlessly cool. Perfect for Budget Travelers 🧳 Despite the designer digs, it was incredibly affordable. The kitchen and showers were sparkling clean, and they had all the amenities you could need. But the real star of the show was the café downstairs! The chef whipped up amazing meals, delicious hot drinks, and even transformed the space into a bar at night, perfect for socializing with fellow travelers. Location, Location, Location! 📍 The hostel's central location was another big plus. It wasn't too far from the train station, making it easy to explore Beppu, the "Hot Springs Mecca" of Japan. Young, Energetic Vibe ⚡️ The overall atmosphere at was cool, laid-back, and full of young, energetic travelers. Yufuin Country Road Youth Hostel er algjörlega reyklaus gististaður með ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna, hverabað fyrir almenning og fjöltyngt starfsfólk. Good view, comfortable beds, quiet and calm environment. I was here 7 years ago, so I'm so surprised that they maintain the high quality of the accommodation for so long time. Everything is as nice as 7 years ago. Appreciate the great effort by the owner.

Great location, very close to the station, restaurants and convenience stores. There's a private onsen within the inn that each group can use during 30 minutes. The facilities are old but clean and comfortable (I stayed in a room with western style beds)

日本旅館 松亀荘 features rooms with free WiFi in Beppu, well located 1 km from Beppu Station and 400 metres from Beppu Tower. Location was great and room was very comfy. We love the Japanese style ryokan. The facility also has its own onsen and laundromat machines so everything was quite convenient.
