Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Ostello Bello Lake Como is set in Como. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. When we arrived the receptionist was busy and recommended that we go to the bar inside the hostel which then gave us free drinks. They had great recommendations and were super friendly. The triple private room had a great view and the room itself was very nice. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Ostello Residenza Molinatto is located in Oggiono. Free WiFi access is available. Complete with a refrigerator, the dining area also has an electric kettle. I liked the view, the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff!

Set in Lecco, 23 km from Villa Melzi Gardens, Lecco Hostel & Rooms offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. This is a modern hostel. Very comfortable with all the facilities. Nice and helpful people, they really did more than one would expect, many thanks! Possibility to eat directly in the hostel is a strong benefit. Lot of space. Rooms also have enough space, not too packed. Would stay here again.

Set in Suello and within 17 km of Circolo Golf Villa d'Este, Cornizzolo bed breakfast has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The room was very clean and the host was very friendly 🙂, although he doesn't speak English. He was very helpful, I can only recommend this place. The location is great if you're trying to escape the city life.

Lake Como Hostel is located just 50 metres from the shores of the beautiful Lake Como. It offers a terrace, a garden, a restaurant and a free beach access. WiFi in public areas is free. I love Maneggio; it's not too touristy compared to Varenna and Bellagio. So, the accommodation price is valuable. The city itself is also adorable. The view from the hostel and restaurant is also great. Love it!

Located in Olginate, 26 km from Leolandia, BlueLake Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. One of the best location away from the lake Como crowd. Spacious room, and one of the biggest bathroom I have seen in my 20 odd month vacation in Italy/Switzerland. And additionally, can't be more obliged with an unexpected help provided by the staff - they dropped us off in the rain to the nearest train station early in the morning on the day of our checkout. Thanks a lot for this small gesture of help !
