This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. The property was absolutely stunning, and the staff made the accommodations and restaurant feel like a homely roadside inn. The food, from the Icelandic rye bread to the entrees to the local beer and lemoncello, the best prepared dishes we had on our entire ring road trip. When we return to Iceland, Berunes will be on our itinerary.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. Omg the hostel is like a 5 star hotel the view from room was amazing with awesome facilities like kitchen and laundry

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. This was the most wonderful place to stay. The hostel is a hundred year old home maintained to its true character. The farm is in the most beautiful, isolated area. More than horses, it offers nature walks. I was only sorry I didn't stay longer. Very unique experience and loved it.

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. the owner was super helpful and saved our day by calling the mechanic when our car broke down.
