This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. First - the view was amazing! Clean, comfortable accommodation. Kitchen was good. They seem to offer light food options like soup at reception. Hiking options available from the guesthouse. Seals sometimes at the beach. Just a gorgeous location for a break.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. Fantastic hostel in a gorgeous little town. Central location, all the shops are within walking distance. The hostel was clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen/dining room area is really lovely, such a nice spot to sit and hang out and look out the window at the town. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough for multiple guests to cook at the same time. Sauna on the bottom floor is also nice. Staff were friendly.

Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. I've been here 10 years ago and happily came back - it is still a very special place, which is definitely worth the little detour from the main road. Go horse riding there, it is simply magical :)

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. Large, well-stocked kitchen. Staff were able to accommodate my one day early arrival due to being ahead of schedule. Truly grateful for their flexibility and understanding.
