The rooms all have central heating and some offer views of the hostel's gardens, or Drogheda Viaduct. It was easy to locate the address. The manager Declan was always super helpful and friendly. It’s within walking distance from the train and bus station and the town and there are shops and restaurants and so on close by. The area felt safe even at night. The hostel has everything you need. Good Wi-Fi, well equipped kitchen, there is an outdoor hang out area and a tv room. Everything is clean and if you need anything there is someone on hand who can help or who can contact Declan.

Probably the best hostel I ever stayed in! It was super clean, modern and comfortable. The little bag of sweets on the pillow was a lovely touch. The room was warm and cosy and I had a lovely meal in the pub downstairs. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, thank you! 10/10
So far, i've stayed in Spoons and Stars Hostel twice and both times i really enjoyed my stay.I'm a bit old for dorms so the first time i opted for the double room with en-suite ,which is located at the back of the building,and found it very clean,quiet and comfortable,so much so i reserved the deluxe queen room (with my partner) in late June and we've both decided we'll definitely be back !!! Great location,GREAT bed,friendly staff and very clean.

Good clean and comfortable hostel in great location. Nice pub across the road. Simple breakfast provided.
Friendly and responsive staff addressed challenges to make us feel safe and gave me a bed in an all-women's dormitory which was very appreciated. Good and helpful people.
