Spoon and the Stars Hostel

Drogheda

Accommodation options range from dormitory to en suite private rooms, and every one of Spoon and the Stars’ comfy beds has either a goose feather or microfibre duvet. The rooms all have central heating and some offer views of the hostel's gardens, or Drogheda Viaduct. It is a hostle so you need to remember that when you book. But it was a good place to stay while we were in Drogheda. When you think of a hostle you think of loud young people and late night noise. But that's not even remotely true about the Spoon and the Stars. We really enjoyed being there (And we're 75) Rory, the owner couldn't be more helpful. And more welcoming either. We had a room at the top of the hostle which had a micro wave, small fridge and a super huge, really comfortable king bed. And the room was QUIET! No loud talking after 9 or 10 at night.
