Snooze Malang in Malang provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a terrace. We only stayed here for a few hours before being picked up at midnight for the Bromo Tour. BUT, the staff went above and beyond to help us with tour arrangements before and after our stay. Honestly, they were amazing with their comms! We booked the room with the private bathroom and it was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you're in Malang. Thank you!!!

SEMERU HOSTEL MALANG in Malang provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very friendly staff, clean hostel, they have everything you need. The best thing is that you can book a tour to Tumpak Sewu, Bromo and Ijen there. The tour was an amazing experience, it was much cheaper than other similar tours and our driver a great guy - he made sure we had everything we needed and was always ready to help.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Ijen Backpacker is set in Banyuwangi, 6.1 km from Watu Dodol. What i like the most is friendly and hospitality of the owner, its good place for solo travel people, just right close to the ferry, food are around , train just 2 minutes walking, and Ijen tour price resonable, you can book from the hostle and quock. But the couple owner are is the heart of the place, best host in Java , everything you need in a place.

It is basic and outside of town center, but that makes it way better than other options (you don't want to stay in Malang center). Beds are comfy and private. Included breakfast is hearty healthy and delicious. They arrange all the tours (Bromo, Sewu, etc) at great comparative rates. Best of all, the hosts are phenomenal!.. Helpful, happy, engaging, and will do whatever it takes to make your stay and experience in the area as awesome as possible. Highly recommend staying here!
