The location was absolutely wonderful for good walks, the various self catering kitchen spaces meant that it was easier to find a quiet time to cook and eat. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

The rooms were very large and comfortable for two people. The facilities were clean. We appreciated the drying room after a wet day of hiking. Would definitely come back.

The evening meal was tasty and filling and good bottled beer available. The bed was comfortable and the shower very clean and powerful. The setting of an interesting building could not be bettered. Staff friendly and atmosphere the most genuinely relaxed I've experienced. Lots of books to read and local information.
