The manager Maria and the volunteer are super hostpitable and patient to my bad English. I was so lucky to own the whole 4- bed room as I was the only guest booking that room. The location is just aside the main road A 9 which is quite convenient to start off for a cyclist. I was told the hostel used to be a school, so you may find the dining room, living room and bed rooms are quite spacious and roofs are high.

It's in the middle of the nature which is really nice if you enjoy that kind of environment like us. The bedroom was really comfortable.

On Scotland’s far west coast, The Mission Bunkhouse in Mallaig offers simple hostel accommodation right opposite the train station and seconds from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal. Staff is friendly and helpful. She provided a lot of local informations. And most importantly, she texted me after we checked out because she found my friend’s phone while cleaning up the room!
