In fact, the most detailed set of information I've received from any of the properties I've stayed in while driving around the NC500. Lara put my mind at ease by informing about late check-in procedures, so I didn't have to rush on the road. Normally, I prefer not to share bathrooms and kitchens, but given the high demand for properties around the area at this time of the year, I was left with no other option. This wasn't a problem at all. Everything is super organized and pristine, from the communal kitchen, laundry room, toilets and showers. I opted for a single room, which was clean, comfortable and adequate after a whole day on the road. Appelcross Village and Heartfield are surrounded by rugged, yet peaceful settings, and I wish I had dedicated more time to this area.

Ben Nevise jalamil asuv ammu asutatud hostel Glen Nevis Youth on vaid 4,8 km kaugusel suurest Fort Williami linnast. Glen Nevis Youth Hostel was easilly my favourite hostel stop on my trip. It's out of the town, right in the Glen, and so close to Ben Nevis. The view from the terrace is beautiful! The kitchen is big and well-equipped, the lounge is nice with a fireplace and beautiful furniture - a nice spot for an afternoon glass! They also have quite nice bathrooms.
