One of the best albergues I stayed in during the Camino. A very nice place, the room was spacious and there were regular beds instead of bunk beds. So everyone was comfortable sleeping in the 'lower' one :) There is also a nice terrace to relax. One of the highlights was, undoubtedly, the host, very friendly and engaged. Thank you, Juan! Last but not least, this albergue offers dinner (a la menu del peregrino) and breakfast (starts early morning,) both very tasty and at a decent price. If ever around, I will make sure to come back.

I cannot give enough praise to this ALBERGUE. Comfortable rooms. Clean and high Quality bathrooms. Great outdoor area. The two owners were so accomodating. The pilgrim dinner was one of the best I've had. The little details made it so special.

The house is a beautifully restored old farmhouse. It has inviting large living room, room with a fireplace, wonderful dining area and there are drinks, cookies and warm blankets available to travelers and pilgrims. The bedrooms are very clean, very comfortable and with plenty of power outlets. The bathrooms are divided into 3 showers and 3 toilet rooms, and there are many sinks. Wash machines and dryers are also available. Estrella, the host, is super knowledgeable and incredibly attentive. The kitchen staff is awesome. The dinner and breakfast were super. If you have time, take the tour of Atapuerca prehistoric sites.

Jõevaatega Albergue de la Piedra asub Villafranca del Bierzos, 21 km kaugusel Las Médulase Rooma kaevandustest. Hostel asub Carucedo järvest umbes 22 km ja Ponferrada lossist 26 km kaugusel. Nice smaller albergue. The kitchen was awesome. Had a nice unplanned meal with fellow peregrinos. One of the girls who works there gave me a pair of pants because I was cold! Excellent hospitality.

REST LIFE EL SALTO asub Belorados, 45 km kaugusel Colosseumist Burgos. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. This a little oasis away from the Camino hostels. Just beautiful and calm and literally two minutes away from the Camino. Such a wonderful day spent with the owner Fernando where he spoiled us silly and made the most exquisite dinner for us.
