For any given question, problem or ask they were always promptly ready to help with anything. The second greatest highlight was the food — it was really good too!

Loved sitting on the roof terrace with everyone for dinner in the evening. A really nice hostel, a bit dated, but places to relax and hang out. Right next to the market which is great!

As beautiful and spacious place. Everything well maintained and it feels that people who work here love there hostal. A lots cozy places to hang around in the rooftop area. Would definitely stay here multiple days.

I always feel like coming back home! Great dorms, a kitchen with all the gadgets you can wish for (even knifes are sharp), filtered water, clean bathrooms, lovely owner and lots of info about what to do in the city. This time I also used a driver they recommended and he was super nice 🙂

Located steps from Plaz San Blas in Historical Quito, Casa CarpeDM offers accommodations in a modern yet classical building. WiFi is available in common areas. I chose this hotel because of good reviews, and honestly it exceeded my expectations. Fernanda is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful with whatever you need. I last minute found out I needed a positive COVID test to return home and Fernanda arranged for someone to come right to the hotel to do it for me, it was super helpful as I was a little panicked at trying to figure that out so last minute. The facility is secure with a front door that is always locked and requires a room key to enter. Location is excellent, within walking distance of all of the Centro Historico’s main attractions, lots of food options, etc.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Heritage Inn offers accommodation in Quito, in the main commercial area, 10 minutes away from the Old Town and 3 minutes from Foch Square. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here while having eye surgery conveniently nearby. I am rebooking for a friend today. The facilities are well maintained, spotlessly clean, comfortable and the staff most helpful and understanding of our needs. Breakfast is healthful and excellent. Two small items installed in the rooms would add to the comfort of guests, a hot pot and a table lamp. Great value for the price.

Only 500 metres from Foch Square, Posada del Maple has practical rooms with private bathrooms. It features a common living room with a fireplace and a small patio with plants. I've stayed at Posada del Maple three times during my travels in Ecuador. It's an absolutely lovely hotel, close to everything, in a very safe and quiet location. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with hot water, beautiful artsy interiors, and comfortable beds. Free drinking water. Good breakfast. Occasionally, you can catch sight of hummingbirds from the terrace of your room. The staff is incredibly helpful and always ready to assist.
