Community Hostel Quito has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Quito. The property is around 2.2 km from El Ejido Park, 5.9 km from Iñaquito Mall and 6 km from La Carolina Park. 4 bed dorm was comfortable (I was the only person!) and with plenty of storage space. Daily activities on the rooftop with a beautiful view of the city, and good food there. Staff are super friendly. I highly recommend taking their walking tour, it was very interesting and informative.

Marco greeted us with a warm welcome and suggestions for where to walk, activities, etc. Staff were friendly. The hostel is centrally located and very secure. The breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommended!

El Patio Hostel Quito has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Quito. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property.... I think this is my favorite hostel after two months of travel in Colombia and Ecuador! The facilities are great: there are three different terraces plus a TV/lounge room and a kitchen/dining room. When I was there it was more of a quiet vibe (not really a party hostel) but it was still easy to meet people and share a meal together. There are plenty of toilets and showers, so you don’t have to wait. Both the kitchen and toilets/showers were kept super clean (I usually hate using kitchens in hostels ;)) The dorms are great too: there are spacious and don’t feel crowded at all. There are large lockers that fit big backpacks + extra storage for clothes, shelves and hooks. Each bed has a curtain, two plugs, a light, a shelf… all small things but that really makes a difference to the dorm experience as you get a lot of privacy & comfort. The breakfast is simple but all you need (toast, butter, marmelade, fruits, cereals and coffee). Everyone was very helpful. They can also arrange day tours or longer tours (eg to the Amazon) although I personally didn’t use this service. I extended my stay by one night and wish I could have stayed even longer!

Amazing experience for the price. The staff are so kind and they feed you huge meals. This was my favorite hostel along the Quilotoa loop!

I've stayed at Posada del Maple three times during my travels in Ecuador. It's an absolutely lovely hotel, close to everything, in a very safe and quiet location. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with hot water, beautiful artsy interiors, and comfortable beds. Free drinking water. Good breakfast. Occasionally, you can catch sight of hummingbirds from the terrace of your room. The staff is incredibly helpful and always ready to assist.
