I did stay in this house. I stayed at their Garden’s House down the street which Holly owns as well. They are incredible hosts. It is more like s guest house than a hostel. They have airport pickup and means and laundry and luggage storage. They have everything you need for stops near the airport in between adventure. All provided by a beautiful family.

They do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, pick you up at the airport in the middle of the night and call the busdriver for you to make sure you travel safe to your next destination. And on top of that you get the most delicious breakfast included and meet the nicest people. Highly recommended, would definetely come back 🌴🫶🏽

BlackOut Hostel ligger i La Fortuna, 4,6 km från Slimnic citadell, och har en trädgård, gemensam lounge och utsikt över bergen. I loved my stay at this Hostel! It’s close of the bus station and the club which is a huge plus :) The owner makes people feel like home and I would definitely recommend people to go there

All staff were incredibly great. Even the chef and bartenders. They were always happy to help. We were very late to book a tour and a shuttle for our next destination and they helped us immediately. We had our tour with Charlie, highly recommended. Ask for him if you get a tour from the hotel! Super funny and friendly Costa Rican tour guide. Also, the happy hour at the bar is great, prices were really good. Highly recommended for those who want to have a fun time in Arenal.

It was my first hostel in Costa Rica and I hope to find more places like this on my trip! Very nice reception, very nice common areas, lots of bathrooms and showers to use (which are new). When I arrived they explained me a map of the city and helped me to organize my activities to make the best use of my time. My favorites were the yoga area and the hostel pet!

Incredibly kind host and volunteers, will go out of their way to help you and generally there's a cozy home-like atmosphere. The place is quite new, so super tidy and neat, with a very well equipped kitchen! Got great recommendations for acitivities and had an overall wonderful stay. Can recommend!!

Argdivan Hostel ligger i La Fortuna, 4,9 km från Slimnic citadell, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. The vibe of the hostel is amazing! It’s this cute blue hostel that has a BEAUTIFUL terrace (with a bar) that lights up at night. I spent my mornings eating breakfast and doing yoga (with the mats they provide) on the terrace. There’s so much space, lot’s of chairs to hang around with other guests, AND an amazing view. They have curtains on the beds!! This is so rare to find in hostels ESPECIALLY at this price. They have lockers IN the room. I love how EACH bed has its own personal fan and outlet. The curtains go all around the bed so it provides a LOT of privacy which is SO nice when staying in a dorm. The bathrooms are really nice and were always clean! Each room has its own bathroom + shower AND they have an extra bathroom with a shower that anyone can use (this was really great when someone was using the shower in the dorm). The kitchen is great; they have everything you need- even a blender! They also provide you with oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, which I found really convenient and a nice touch. The wifi is great- there’s lots of areas to sit and work. They also have a common area where you can watch Netflix on the tv! The owners and staff are amazing. There are tons of tours to do and they organize it for you. It was a great way to see La Fortuna and meet other travelers, so I highly recommend going on the tours- the hot springs, Rio Celeste, Chocolate Tour, and Night Walk were my favourites. I would HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone staying in La Fortuna! The price is incredible for the quality of the hostel. I will definitely visit again :)
