I did stay in this house. I stayed at their Garden’s House down the street which Holly owns as well. They are incredible hosts. It is more like s guest house than a hostel. They have airport pickup and means and laundry and luggage storage. They have everything you need for stops near the airport in between adventure. All provided by a beautiful family.

Located within 31 km of Poas National Park and 2.3 km of Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium, Flor de Katty Hostel Airport provides rooms in Alajuela City. Good location for a night before a flight. Morning airport taxi for 5 USD :) Katty arranged food for us, was super friendly and kind. The room and bathroom were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Recommend!

Set in Ángeles, 18 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Cabañas San Isidro offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and barbecue facilities. Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

Situated in Fortuna and with La Fortuna Waterfall reachable within 5.6 km, Pura Vibra Hostel features concierge services, rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful in booking trips and excursions and assisting with any questions and requests. Kitchen was clean and enjoyable to cook in. Location is at the edge of town, but a 2-3 minute walk to the restaurants and bars as it is a small town. Vibes are great, people sitting and chilling at all hours. Great value for money.

Located in Fortuna, 5.6 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Alpha Arenal provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The owner was marvelous. He gave lots of great recommendations for several activities and does not want to sell tours like lots of others. Just perfect!!! This made our trip perfect and I highly recommend the hostel for everyone who goes to La Fortuna. The rooms were clean and we had a nice balkony to sit outside. It is a great hostel to get to know others.
