Hostel Estação Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge and a bar. The staff is amazing and courteous. The private room was big and really quiet and clean. The shower was really nice. The location is good - around 15 minutes on foot from Maracanã metro station, and quite beside the stadium.

Located in Búzios, a 12-minute walk from Armação Beach, Bamboo Búzios Hostel has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. Located in the city center close to restaurants, shopping, and right on the beach. The view of the beach was absolutely incredible - highly recommend for couples traveling together. Staff were so helpful with recommendations for night life and with booking our tours and transportation, especially Luli & Rafael. Breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations. On a day where we had to leave the hostel before the breakfast hour for a tour, staff were kind enough to prepare a to-go breakfast with fresh snacks. The hostel restaurant was also delicious for lunch. Overall, it was a great stay!

This lively hostel in Rio de Janeiro has a great location 300 metres from famous Copacabana Beach. It offers fun in its bamboo spa, pool bar and outdoor mountain lounge. The staff were really great. Very friendly and helpful and really took the time to get to know you. I can’t remember everyone’s names but Rob was great and Frankie was hilarious, even though we couldn’t communicate that much because I don’t speak Portuguese. They offered free tours every morning and evening. The tours are really varied and a great way to meet people. I stayed in the female dorm and I think this was one of the best dorms as I saw some of the other rooms have triple bunks. The breakfast was also pretty good value.

Castelo dos Tucanos Hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Rio de Janeiro. Well situated in the Santa Teresa district, this hostel features a bar. Highly recommended for solo travelers or couples. I initially booked for just one night but ended up staying three weeks in this charming castle. Located in the heart of the city, this historical gem is adorned with beautiful art, and you can enjoy a stunning view of Christ the Redeemer right from your room. The large garden and relaxing pool are perfect for unwinding, and the rooftop offers breathtaking sunsets. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every Sunday, there's a free BBQ, and the breakfast is simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options. The warm, social atmosphere made me feel right at home. Numa Boa HOSTEL Búzios has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Búzios. Boasting a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. I loved my stay here! You feel you are staying in a big house. It’s chill and happy, cozy and comfortable. Numa is close to Geriba, my favorite beach for surfing and even closer to Manguinhos, great for a sunset drink. It’s also close to the main road, where you have transfers that take you to the center. Would go back there every time!
