This is easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in my life in terms of the facilities it is amazing ! There is less of a party vibe compared to the hostels in Ipanema but it’s not hard to find parties in Rio 😂

Oh well, in my opinion, this is really a hardcore backpackers hostel and not necessarily for more mature travelers looking for a decent but affordable accommodation but here are the details. Good: refrigerator in the room desk in the room very good internet good lighting safe area and safe place
The location is perfect and in a safe area, so it‘s a good place to explore Rio. The hostel has a bar, where you can hang out, meet new people and have some drinks, between 20:00 - 20:30 there‘s free caipirinhas all you can drink, in combination with party vibes, so it‘s good pre-gaming. Staff is super helpful, Tai is an angel, you can always ask for recommendations. Also, everyday they organize events that one can join.
Great location in Botafogo, close to metro line and felt safe as a solo traveler. Cute breakfast with fresh cakes every day, nice outdoor area. The 2 cats of the hostel are very nice and social! The WiFi worked very well. The kitchen is great, clean and very organised, it was probably my favourite part!
The best hostel I stayed in in Rio! The staff is super amazing, always ready to help and super friendly (special thanks to Davi who saved me in so many situations). There is AC but the temperature can be adapted, so that you don't need to freeze to death like in so many other Rio hostels, also very good daily cleaning. There is also a common area to chill and meet people and the hostel is located in a safe area, close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets.
It is important to put the whole review in the context of the New Year's party. The whole copacabana is exorbitantly expensive, so the prices for the two-bed rooms here were at a level where you can sometimes go to a 5* hotel in europe. Accordingly, it was disappointing to sleep on plasticised beds and plasticised pillows. All in all, however, it is a very nice hostel, in a great location, safe and with lots of activities.
As per previous review from a couple of nights earlier (that was a dorm, this stay was in a private room), hostel is clean & well located, close to beach, public transport & good (cheap) food/bars. Felt secure. Staff are friendly/helpful. Good budget option.
Best hostel with best work spot and view on the sea i ever had. Just safer wifi would be great for co working! will come back here for a month probably in june to work here. love it
Probably one of the best hostels near Rio. The only reason i wouldnt stay there is it's far from everything. Beds really comfortable, such beautiful area with lots of trees, swimming pools, bar etc. Next to the corcovado station so go there while you stay at this hostel, quiet area and looked safe. Not a lot of shops/supermarkets around but i could find the necessary stuff, nice staff.
Was cheap and in a great location, had a really good restaurant beneath it, was opposite a police precinct so felt safe.
