Everything was beyond our expectations and amazing. The host first of all was the most kind, lovingly greeted us into the clean hostel. Never had an experience like this one from any of my hostel stays before. . Josy, is one of a kind human, she's open minded and experienced, has lots to share about her life and willing to listen. I really loved our chats everyday for the week that we stayed there, the breakfast is full of variety and good food to start the day. Josy showed us the local foods, we had outings together, just like going to visit a friend for the week. The room was bright, cleaned and fresh linen, bathrooms were cleaned daily and never lacked toilet paper. The floors and entrance of the buildings are cleaned daily which is very appreciated. Looking forward to going back next time, Miss hanging out with you Josy, see you later.

History Hostel is in a good area not too far from the center offering very comfortable accommodation. The hostel is simple, clean, and have modern facilities. I like how they put a lot of thought in designing the hostel to have all that a traveler needs for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well equipped and is available for use and they have small areas for chilling, meeting people, or doing a bit of work. They also have a small outdoor area for laundry, and have rfid keys for security. Everything is clean and organized. This is beyond what I normally see in many many hostels. The best part is that the hosts, and volunteers were very welcoming and friendly. They have plenty of recommendations for your stay in Ouro Preto. It is clear that Italo and his team work hard to make this space feel like home. Hudson, especially has very good taste in music :) History is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. I felt at home.

La Musica Hostel OuroPreto is gelegen in Ouro Preto, op een paar minuten lopen van Inconfidencia Museum, en biedt uitzicht op de stad. This is the nicest and the friendliest hostel on Earth! I loved this place!!! I stayed in a female dorm - it was awesome because there are no bunk beds! Mattress was super comfortable, room was spacious enough and it had this vibe of a mountain house (just a heads up there is a lot of stairs - first to the hostel, then to the dorm - not a problem just a remark for people with reduced mobility or ginormous suitcases). It seemed like a mixed dorm had a beautiful view over main square and from the kitchen there was a view over the town, all the churches and the mountains. But the most important thing were the people! This hostel has such a nice vibe you seriously just want to stay there forever! It has all the Rodney (owner) personality and the volunteers were the nicest people on Earth! It was also super clean, couldn’t be better located and seriously- It’s just perfect! Loved, LOVED this place ❤️❤️❤️

I spent a month in Brazil and Del Mundo Hostel is the best hostel I've stayed at so far. I had the most comfy bed ever ( double ). There were a lot of options at the breakfast. Staff working there are all amazing and did their best to make me feel at home. They even organized my birthday party. A huge thank you to the incredible family at Del Mundo Hostel for making that day unforgettable. Your kindness, warmth, and love turned my celebration into something I’ll cherish forever.
