Very cute, small and clean hostel with nice owner and staff that attended us perfectly in every moment. Wonderful location, our dormitory had a dream view onto the village. The breakfast was simple and good. We would return any time.
I returned to Rota BH Hostel for a second stay because the hostel is clean, safe, and organized. I also really like the location. The staff were all kind and helpful. Geraldo and Fatima were especially helpful to me. The staff take great care with the facilities, the rooms, the linen, and the guests. I felt very well looked after.

The young ladies that run the hostel are very friendly and welcoming. The first day I arrived the host was nice enough to walk me to a restaurant that was open in the neighborhood. Also got nice accomodations with a towel and blanket. I enjoyed my stay so much, that I extended it to another night. I would highly recommend staying here to any backpacker looking for a fun time in a safe and secure environment.

It felt like a little oasis in the middle of concrete jungle belo Horizonte. The neighbourhood is very lovely with little shops and restaurants. It feels very local and safe, and not too far from the centre at all. There are a lot of bathrooms and showers and the dorms are nice and spacious. Stable bunk beds. The common kitchen is very good. All the common areas are cleaned regularly. I loved having the pool/garden where you can sit in the sun during the day and relax!
THE PARKING FOR MY MOTORCYCLE WAS VERY SAFE AND SECURE. HAVING ACCESS TO GREAT CABLE TV. I GOT TO WATCH CNN IN ENGLISH, ALSO HAVE NEXTFLIX, AMAZON PRIME, APPLE TV, VIVO PLAY PARAMOUNT AND MANY OTHER CHANNELS. I GOT TO WATCH ALOT OF MOVIES ! THE BREAKFAST SERVICE DELIVERED TO MY ROOM WAS NICE TOUCH. GREAT MENU FOR ROOM SERVICE, ALSO THERE ARE A FEW PLACES TO EAT WITHING WALKING DISTANCE.. PASTA, PIZZA, BAKED GOODS..AND GREAT TRADITIONAL BRAZILIAN DISHES AT VERY CHEAP PRICES !! $ 3 TO $ 5 U.S.D.
