I had an incredible stay at Swahili Villa! The staff were exceptionally warm and helpful from the moment I arrived, making me feel right at home. The villa itself was cozy, with a comfortable bed and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing, and the generous portions were the highlight of my stay. The property was really clean and cozy. It really had nice vibe and the staff was also amazing. They had learned our names, which made our stay feel really personal. We stayed in one of the bungalows and the room was really comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also delicious. The location was a bit out of the city center, but with a taxi you will be there in no time. Definitely recommend to stay here if you are in Arusha!

I found the hostel via the price / map function since it was never actively using booking to get customers. This is really sad, because the house is worth to be found and I hope I can help others to find it.
Relevant for me is the location (bus is close, in the green, no noise, here I have an amazing mountain-view), a breakfast that I can discuss how I want to have it and when I have a problem than I know they will help me.
Since the building is as good as new (build not yet two years ago) and the wonderful woodwork is above from what I usually get in a hostel, the location is special and the people are friendly and help me with there connections whatever I desire I can live with a perfect rating what I normally never give .....

Though you are still very close to Arusha town, you will find yourself in a super calm place surrounded by green, in developing coffee farm. Area is realy very nice. Accomodation is simple but very sufficient and nice, built in ecco spirit. Staff is super friendly, breakfasts extra delicious and their own coffee taste soo good. Lucy and Neema were so welcoming, friendly and funny. It really felt like we left as friends. It's located in a nice quiet place, with a lovely garden with all kinds of seating options. And there is a well-stocked fridge with beers and sodas And breakfast was great with fresh fruits and your choice of eggs, veggie sandwhich, pancakes or all! And only a short ride to the city center.

My brother and I had perfect 2 days in Shamba Hostel. We were the only guest in the entire Hostel but breakfast and dinner were prepared with so much love and it was very tasty...thank you for these perfect dinners. Rooms were very clean with clean bathrooms on suite. No luxury at all, but everything there what you need.
The host, his wife and the rest of the staff were very kind and friendly. They also took us for a short stroll through the nearby village. If I ever come to Arusha again, I will stay here. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.
Great location and sets you up well if you are going on safari. There are multiple types of birds everywhere and saw giraffes in the distance. Lucas and team were great.
The food was well cooked and was near what we normally eat.

The hostel arranged the airport pick up which was great. Nice spacious rooms, hot water and wonderful food provided for dinner and breakfast. Lovely garden. Friendly staff. The hostel is also used for voluntary projects focusing on local development activities. Lovely walk nearby in the countryside and by the river.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. No request is too little or too large. The lodge is very tastefully designed and the food is great. Great location just next to Arusha National Park.
