Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
I thought the houses were very traditional which added a fantasy touch to the hostel. The location is really close to town and to (cheap) shops which makes it very convenient to stay there ! The staff is really welcoming and there are plenty of activities organised in the evenings ! Great experience to be there!
This hotel was very nice! Small but cozy room, great location. Probably the cheapest stay we could find in Tromso but we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back! They also allowed us to check-in early for a small fee and to leave our baggage there after check-out (for free) :) We also bought a reeindeer and sami culture tour at the hotel and it was great
Good price-quality. Don't expect anything fancy and the rooms are rather small. But it is definitely one of the cheapest accommodations in the center of Tromso on a great location. The people are friendly and we were able to check in a bit earlier. There is a big parking garage and supermarket across the street.
Probably one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Really clean, great facilities and very central. Added bonus was that we were given our own room despite booking beds in the dormitory. Plus they have a very cute dog called Burger.
You could say that it the perfect hotel for backpackers who feel too old (or do not want) to stay at a hostel. Not really low budget but for a good price you get everything you need: bed, shower, breakfast, friendly staff...
Would definitely recommend it.
Great location and hostel, good social vibe and Robin’s northern lights tour was fantastic, I would absolutely stay again!
Good price for Tromsø.
Need your own padlock for storage lockers and the rooms don’t have a lock (only the door to the outside which is locked at night) but as a solo female I felt very safe.
Standard hostel in terms of beds/rooms, nothing fancy but everything you need.
This was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. It was cheap and great. My room was nice, with very comfortable beds (with curtains around them, so you could have a privacy at night) and with lockers for everyone. The kitchen was big and very well-equipped. The living room was spacious and very comfortable; it was also a great place to meet other guests and socialize with them. I recommend this place and next time in Tromsø I'll definitely stay here again!
Convenient hostel on a centrally located road near the harbourfront without too much traffic. The room rate isn't cheap for sharing in a two-bunk dormitory room but this option still eases the pain of Tromso's otherwise consistently expensive accommodation. The shared kitchen was quite well stocked with utensils and the fridge and storage cupboards spacious.
Coco has a pleasant atmosphere and 24 hrs access by front-door code.
Great location and cheap price, perfect for backpackers. Given the low season there were few guests when I stayed so I had the whole dormitory room for myself :) I loved hanging out with the staff and the other travellers in the common area!
