Sanga Hostel, hotel in Pakse

Sanga Hostel is set in Pakse, less than 5 minutes' walk from Wat Luang and just 10 minutes' walk from the Kong River.

Very new place, clean and comfortable. Huge bunk beds, comfortable mattress and pillow, well closing curtains. Good food at the restaurant, free water and bananas, very nice souvenirs at the shop. The guy at the reception is the best of the best, he could easily work in a starred hotel. Great value for the price.

Helpful staff (though not all good with English) - let me use their phone to call our next hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, albeit with no window.

Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

A hostel with more natural space than the average. Backpacker’s hostel has multiple options for accommodation such as private rooms, family rooms and soon to have camping tents. This hostel is a nice mix between camping yet with access to restrooms, restaurants, bar and assistance for trekking or transportation services. A very relaxed and friendly environment ran by a lovely family who takes care of their community as well as their guests. Definitely recommend.

Best stay EVER! They let me check-in at 9am after my sleeper bus! The bed was very comfy, even with a mixt 10 beds dorm I slept like a baby. Loved the curtains, towel, free ice-cream everyday !!! The bathroom right outside the dorm was perfect. Sewing kit to fix your clothes if you need. Everything was clean. The receptionist is a fabulous lady, always lovely, smiling, ready to help. She gave me some food for my 12 hours bus to siem reap. That I booked with the hostel for cheaper than 12go by the way! Best place in Laos.

The beds are large and incredibly confortable, and despite being in a dormitory, we each had some good privacy thanks to the curtains. After 2 months traveling in Asia, felt good to have a nice closed shower that is not above the toilet and that has hot water! And finally, their breakfast buffet in the morning is tasty so overall good experience here. It’s a very nice hostel I recommend before going to do the loop (they will keep your bag, and you can shower when coming back)

clearly one of the best hostel in Asia so far. Any backpacker I met in Laos who had been in Pakse recommended to stay there and I understand why. The ladies are so nice, everything is made simple for you from transportation, tours organisation. I was there during Christmas and they even offered the Xmas eve dinner to all guests ! Besides all this, everything is very clean, bed very confortable and laundry super fast (less than 12 hours for no additional charge).
