Staff were the most lovely and welcoming people ever and went out of their way to do everything they could for us. Comfortable beds with charging ports and the AC in the room work well. The hostel has a small bar just outside in front of the pool where they play music and you can socialize and meet with others which is nice without being too crazy. They offer a great variety of tours you can book through them as well as cheap onward travel.

I appreciate everything, especially the manager and his family crews. They’re friendly and helpful. I didn't feel alone while I was staying at Mad Monkey Vang Vieng. The hostel has a lovely view, a charming bar, excellent food, and some very attractive guests. What else could I expect? The hostel is almost in the center of the town. It took me about a minute to get to the main street by walking. Moreover, the hostel provides other services, such as a tour. P.S. Thank you, brother Tawan, for your suggestion and company.

The free breakfast is good—and the mountain view spectacular: the attached photo is from the table!—but small and you can’t buy more. (Fortunately, the ‘no outside food’ rule doesn’t seem to be enforced during this, non-commercial mealtime, and there’s plenty of cheap and varied food nearby so it’s not a big problem.)
Comfy seating in the common area (by reception) and they don’t feel the need to pump in music-nobody-asked-for (why do others in public spaces *do* that?!), so you can actually read, have a quiet conversation, or just space out as you like.

The staff were super nice helped to switch rooms when we needed, and helped to close bus tickets.
The rooms were very clean, cozy and comfortable, warm and hot showers.

Best hostel I've stayed in. Very social and easy to meet new people. The staff were helpful and arrange a day tour and para motor for me . My dorm had lots of space and very clean. I really appreciated the clean showers and toilets. The wifi was strong throughout the hostel. I felt at home here and will return.
It was an awesome experience to stay in Vang Vieng backpakers hostel! Very nice location, specious, clean and so affordable for solo budget backpackers like me. I would like to special mention about the staff Mr. Mohammad is a helped me a lot for everything means he is very kind, loveable and cooperative guy. Very friendly and humble! If you in hostel then you will find him near pool bar, he is managing pool bar counter. I really appreciate him. Most recommended👍👍
The hostel owner lady was kind and helped a lot with the concierge. You can do scooter rental and many tours booking through her. It was the same and cheaper price than other rental shops but you can just leave your passport at the reception. So it's much safer. The breakfast was nice and the mountain view was amazing!.

Nana Backpacker is one of the best hostels I've stayed in Southeast Asia. I love the way they organized the tubing; it was really enjoyable. The staff is very helpful, the food in the was delicious, and the room is good for the price.
