Chill House hostel is a good chill vibes hostel if that’s what you looking for. Feels very secure. Rooms were nice and clean. You get free whisky and vodka from 7-10pm which is nice. I highly recommend it for a fun and hassle-free experience.

It was in a great location right by the main ‘strip’ of the town and the views from the pool were amazing!! We stayed in a private room and it is what you pay for

1) The room and the bathroom are very clean and all the switches work perfectly.
2) A terrace at the back provides a quiet place for a tea or coffee break (BYO snacks)
3) There is an open washing area where I wash my muddy shoes, bags, pants (with a laundry brush from the laundry area) after a muddy climb up and down Nam Xay Viewpoint during this rainy season. This makes it easier for me for the floor is the washing board and I can place each item on the floor, brush and rinse without much effort. I also prevents me from choking the sanitary system in the room with mud from all the items.
4) Kamla who checked me in is very helpful with booking of mini van to Phonsavan and acts a translators when the lica driver doesn’t quite understand me who can’t speak a word of the Laotian language.
5) Though it’s some distance (not really far) from the city centre, it is compensated by the peace and quiet that surrounds the guest house. No noisy party- goers nor revving vehicles to pollute the environment. 🤣

Best hostel I've stayed in. Very social and easy to meet new people. The staff were helpful and arrange a day tour and para motor for me . My dorm had lots of space and very clean. I really appreciated the clean showers and toilets. The wifi was strong throughout the hostel. I felt at home here and will return.
It was an awesome experience to stay in Vang Vieng backpakers hostel! Very nice location, specious, clean and so affordable for solo budget backpackers like me. I would like to special mention about the staff Mr. Mohammad is a helped me a lot for everything means he is very kind, loveable and cooperative guy. Very friendly and humble! If you in hostel then you will find him near pool bar, he is managing pool bar counter. I really appreciate him. Most recommended👍👍
The hostel owner lady was kind and helped a lot with the concierge. You can do scooter rental and many tours booking through her. It was the same and cheaper price than other rental shops but you can just leave your passport at the reception. So it's much safer. The breakfast was nice and the mountain view was amazing!.

Nana Backpacker is one of the best hostels I've stayed in Southeast Asia. I love the way they organized the tubing; it was really enjoyable. The staff is very helpful, the food in the was delicious, and the room is good for the price.

It is centraly located, great pool, a bar, pool table, lots of activities to do and the absolutely best hostel manager, Pikachu.There you can book ziplines, balloons, tubing, paragliding and everything you can imagine.The hostel staff is extremely friendly, free drinks for a couple of hours everyday and perfectly safe.You'll have a blast and it was one of the best hostels I've been to, for sure.
