Hidden gem of Otaru, lovely house beautifully decorated. Clean and comfortable beds. Close enough to the attractions (walkable). I had a comfortable stay.

Great hostel, staff is really nice and the bar area is nice to chill with good priced drinks. The room has a comfy vibe and the bathroom is clean and convenient. Would definitely recommend if you're staying in Otaru for a short or longer time.

The staff was friendly and even if we got there a bit later than the normal check-in time, they were welcoming. Also, a bit far way from the center but close to bus stops bound to Otaru station.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Good location and walk by 10 minutes to arrive from Otaru JR station. Also close to channel and warehouse tourist areas. The reception staff is friendly and patience to introduce hostel facilities. Very nice to offer a welcome drink after check-in. The facilities are well equipped and the common area is large which makes me feel convenient and comfortable to stay. The bed is comfortable as well. Recommend for budgeted travelers to stay here when traveling to Otaru.
Great location, close to Otaru canal, lawson and restaurants nearby, cozy hostel, comfy bed, cut cat and dog in the house, owner is nice and allow me to store luggage after check out
The best hostel I've ever stayed in, quiet, felt like home. Wonderful owner and staff, I got a nice Japanese breakfast, too. Will hopefully come back soon!
Probably the best hostel i’ve ever stayed at that i decided to write review for the first time. Super cosy lobby and spacious toilets (even bigger than hotel toilets in japan). The whole hostel was also spotlessly clean and organised which really impressed me comparing to other hostels i’ve stayed at.
I stayed in a dormitory room but I was surprised to find it wasn't a bunk bed but a narrow room with a curtain at one end. The high ceiling was very nice after staying in capsule or bunk beds for weeks. I liked the vibe of the place so much that I asked to extend my stay an extra night. Also the coin laundry is the cheapest I've seen.
Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Japan. Been to quite a few. The manager here, Daigo (I think it’s spelled) is the nicest and super friendly. Easy to stop early and leave bags, good location from the stations and walking to the canal and around town. Super nice bar and lounge, as well as the dorm! Wish I could have stayed longer. Will for sure be back
