It was clean, I liked the facilities, restroom, shower, kitchen, patio, everything was great. Overall the style of the guesthouse was enjoyable. Kitchen and common area/living room was pretty big.
The dormitory was quite big as well, there was space for luggage, small lockers for valuables, even a sofa. You could hold your backpack inside your bed because there was enough space.
I would definitely stay there one more time if I were in Nara.

It is not a far walk to Nara park or Nara station. About 20 minutes to the park and 10 to the station. Check in and check out was very easy. You do it on your own, so paying ahead of time is recommended. It was good value and you get what you pay for.

Host went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She made me coffee in the morning, seemed genuinely interested in my travels, and even drove me to the train station after check-out. Even though I was only there for two nights, casa del girasol felt like home! I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Osaka. Could not recommend this place more.

As always the dormitories and all the facilities were great. The best part of course is the Neighborhood. It's why I keep coming back. Staying here is always a good value as well.

Very cheap price for a double bed room with a private bathroom - check in and check out are extremely no-fuss, you just walk in and out. Room was actually bigger than the last budget hotel we stayed at. Very short walk from the station, great food places within walking distance too.
I don’t think I have ever rated a property as perfect, but this was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. It is immaculately clean, and well located only minutes walking from Nara Station and Nara Park. Hiro-San and his family are the most generous hostel hosts I have ever encountered. Absolutely incredible comfort and hospitality. The owner is exceptionally friendly and outgoing. Fells like a homestay rather than a hostel. Great way to meet new people also.

The staff was really nice, the place cute and cozy, felt like home. Bring your earplug if you book the dormitory. Breakfast is cheap ans tasty. Close to the park. In a quiet area. Hot bath was nice at the end of the day!

The location was ideal to walk to Nara park, and the husband and wife owners (I'm terrible with names 😅) were incredibly warming and open when I arrived, and helped to call a restaurant when I needed to check my booking.
