Looking for a hostel?
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

The hostel was in good location and it was cheap. It was so great that we could wash our clothes and also dry them. Thank you!

Historic building ideally suited to being a Youth Hostel. Great to have a private bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen.

A fantastic hostel in a great location. We were in room 12 which was a double with bathroom and a view of the mountains. There were great facilities including a sauna and we were able to stay until the boat left despite having checked out. We thought it was the best hostel we have stayed in. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Seydisfjordur. Thank you to the owners and staff.

Wonderful place. Best hostel-style place I've stayed at. Staff were so nice and helpful and the shared kitchen is incredible! Has absolutely anything you could need, even bread making equipment!

Really nice hostel with great facilities. Was one of our favorites during our ring road trip. Everything was very well maintained and clean. Great location right in town. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights during our August stay here.

Excellent value for money, great location with a view of the harbor. We stayed at the only room out of seven that was a four-bed dorm room, and only had one guest on the top bunk. These were the best bunk beds of all the hostels that I've stayed at - comfortable and well-designed. Spacious and conversation-inviting dining area overlooking the harbor. Small kitchen but sufficient for our needs. Very cute and comfortable hostel.

The hostel is in a great location close to everything. It is spacious yet cosy and has a good kitchen and eating area. The building has an interesting history having been the old hospital until the new one was built next door. The self check-in was easy. Our room was spacious, comfy and clean.
