Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Top located in Villavieja and a very helpful team in all matters. They even asked the busdriver to bring me to the Hostel. Thank you so much for everything!!!
Miguel was very kind and helped out with answers to any question I could think of.
The hostel is a quite and beautiful place. Well clean and comfortable, I would recommend.
Great location, beautiful houses with a green patio. The WiFi worked well and the owner let me use her kitchen to cook my own food. They can als arrange tours for you and you can use the pool at the other hostel for 5000 pesos.
The hostel is in a great location close to the main square of Villavieja. Everything necessary is very close. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Also there is a nice patio which is great to to relax and spent some time in the hamacs. Also sandra, the landlady is very attentive and nice.
The owner doesn’t speak English but he’s super friendly and helps you with whatever you need. (With Google translate you come a long way.)
We did our laundry there which was super cheap (I reckon only like 20k).
The rooms were nice, big and clean and the hostel is like a 2 minute walk from the centre.
You get a ‘good morning coffee’ every morning. :)
Very nice family-owned hotel. Great location close to the red desert and comfortable room and garden. The chef makes a perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner and it's possible to book a ride to Neiva or Villavieja from where it's possible to take the bus. Not a backpackers vibe, but all guests were friendly and talkative, so did not feel lonely either. Felt very welcome and had a lovely stay!
I booked a bed in a dorm and got a bed for two persons for a very cheap price. It was very comfortable and the woman who owns the hostel is very nice. She offers tours into the desert too
