Great food, beautiful location, fun way of getting there. Switching off the WiFi in the evening creates a good atmosphere for socialising. Good place to switch off for a few days. Indigenous and permaculture tour is worth doing. Interesting project, would be cool to see what the land looks like in the future

The feel of the place was relaxed and friendly. Lola was very helpful with options for activities and spoke beautiful English, a help to us with very little Spanish skill. The location near the east entrance of Tayrona Park was close enough that a Mototaxi can get you there.
The beach was clean and for the week we were there it was swimmable; the currents can get bad enough to close it for swimming. There is the Mendihuaca River 5 min down the beach that was good for shallow swimming and cooling off.
Lots of food options near the hostal; hostal breakfast was simple but very satisfying.
Good fan in our room and mosquito nets.

Right on the beach and the best all around restaurant as well. next to the surf school so renting a board was easy and you can watch the surf from your hammock to see when it’s up.

This is the most beautiful and welcoming hostel on the north coast. From the staff, volunteers and tranquil location its best hostel around. I stayed on the north coast for three months and found it so hard to leave Ponde - thanks for everything guys! Until next year
Literally the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. All staff, facilities and vibes were amazing. The beach and pool are perfect, lots of activities, food and cocktails too notch. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed in my life. The river , the tubbing, the dj sets and the parties are wiiiilldd!!!! The food is amazing too. Special thanks to angel at the reception. If you want to disconnect from the the world and step inside a paradise off the usual backpacker route in Colombia this is the place to do it. The owners Stefan, Collette & Sam have created a little slice of paradise, with an off grid eco hostel in the Sierra Nevada mountains, family style delicious veg meals, cute animals and amazing people. 10/10 hospitality
