Amazing location, we have been travelling for 8 months and this has been our favourite hostel. We met great people here, the staff were great and the activities all fun. The food was also some of the best we have had in our whole trip.

Location next to the river was beautiful, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the flora and fauna around the hostel was amazing, it was a hidden gem tucked away from all the tourists. Its a shirt walk to the main road and as soon as you cross the road there is a moto taxi stand where you can catch a bike in Guachaca town. The buses also stop directly opposite the road that EcoHostal is down.
The Fort Hostel in Don Diego has a garden and a bar. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel, rooms have a balcony with a sea view.

Literally the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. All staff, facilities and vibes were amazing. The beach and pool are perfect, lots of activities, food and cocktails too notch. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed in my life. The river , the tubbing, the dj sets and the parties are wiiiilldd!!!! The food is amazing too. Special thanks to angel at the reception. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, must stay. From start to finish the stay was faultless. If you want to disconnect from the the world and step inside a paradise off the usual backpacker route in Colombia this is the place to do it. The owners Stefan, Collette & Sam have created a little slice of paradise, with an off grid eco hostel in the Sierra Nevada mountains, family style delicious veg meals, cute animals and amazing people. 10/10 hospitality
