Lovely place, more like a small hotel then a hostel. We stayed in a twin private room on the 2nd floor. Fabulous view of the mountains with paragliders going past! It was in a quiet area and while there were people around it was not a hectic place. Very relaxing.
The location is a 5\7 minute walk from Interlaken west train station. Interlaken ost station is the busier one where you get trains to the mountains. We got a bus outside the door to Wilderswil where you can connect to trains. You get a free pass to use public transport within Interlaken.
The location was great for us as it gave an authentic Swiss feel and we could walk or get the bus to the busier side of Interlaken.
The room was a great size and the breakfast was lovely too. I would highly recommend this hostel for people who want to be in a town but in lovely calm surroundings.

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We arrived early, and they kindly offered luggage storage, which was a big help.
As a special touch, since it was my wife's birthday, the host took the time to ask if we had any special requests. They even left a thoughtful birthday card on our door in the morning, which really added to the personal and memorable experience.

The view was as promised at a great location. The apartment is really beautiful and the amenities are top notch. Everything was clean and organized. All the basic amenities were already provided on top of what we is mentioned in the summary. Host came to check on us personally as we were trying to reach her during check-in. She gave us nice recommendations and is very well informed about the location and is an excellent guide.
I absolutely LOVED this hostel. It's just a beautiful as the photos show. The character of the heritage building is lovely. It oozes with the feeling of a secluded summer lodge, yet is close enough to interlaken to get to everything easily.
The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming.

The staff was very accommodating and kind. I made the mistake of not reserving dinner 24 hours ahead of time and they still kindly let me have dinner at the hostel. The location was amazing! Right on the water with a dock and watercraft for rent (very cheap too!). The sunset over the lake was absolutely beautiful.
