Gem the owner is so sweet and friendly will help anyway she can. Place is super clean and quiet. The breakfast has a big variety. Location Right in the middle of town so if you are going to the beach it’s about 20 min walk to both beaches so great location to have a combination of town and beach:)

Cat Ba, Lan Ha Rannaäärne Floating Homestay asub 1,4 km kaugusel Monkey Island Beachist. Kohapeal on erarand, aed ja baar. Konditsioneeriga majutusasutus on Đo Khỉ rannast 1,5 km kaugusel. We had a great time at this place. It is a great option to ditch the crowd of the cruises and explore the bay at your own pace via SUP. It is more majestic this way anyhow 😉 The hosts were fabulous. Thang arranged everything we could ask for and the even though the hostess did not speak English she was very courteous! It seems here motto was: "When in doubt, bring food" 😅 Also regarding the price. Since lunch and breakfast are for free and the entrance fee and overnight fee of the stay (roughly 15$) are included as well, it was hardly more expensive than staying in a double room in the city. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Đức Tuân 2 Motel asub Hai Phongis, 4,4 km kaugusel Hai Phongi ooperimajast, 5,7 km kaugusel Vincom Plaza Ngo Quyenist ja 44 km kaugusel Tuan Chau sadamast. The host was super helpful and friendly, the location is quiet but just around the corner from busier streets making it perfect. We had a great stay :)

Kodumajutus asub Vincom Plaza Ngo Quyenist 4 km ja Hai Phongi ooperimajast 5,5 km kaugusel. Cju Biển Homestay pakub privaatse vannitoaga tube, kus on konditsioneer ja Hai Phong. 100% clean, very cozy and beautiful room. Breakfast was free for customers and they had very good coffee and smoothies. The bungalow was very cute. I would absolutely repeat!!

Very clean. Good location for eating. People running the hostel are super nice. Daughter speaks English and mother a wonderful lady. Is in alley of main road and quiet. May be a bit difficult to locate at first. Big backpacker plus is it has an elevator.

Tran Chau Garden Home asub Ben Beo sadamast 5,6 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on konditsioneeri ja terrassiga majutusruumid. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The home is in walking distance to the beach. There are many restaurants nearby. Room is spacious and clean.

CornerCatBa asub Cat Bas. Kohapeal on konditsioneeri ja rõduga majutusruumid. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade mägedele ja järvele. Tung Thu rand on 1,3 km kaugusel. We had the best time in CornerCatBa. The host family couldn’t be any kinder. Thanh helped us to book Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay tour, transfers from/to Hanoi and Ninh Binh, did the laundry for us, recommended restaurants and cafes and cooked delicious breakfasts. She also helped to arrange a taxi for us to take us to Cat Ba National Park and even prepared bahn mi, snacks and water for us for free. The location of the accommodation was also great away from all the noise of Cat Ba Town with a beautiful view of the lake. We felt very special to experience Vietnamese hospitality and authentic experience. Thanh (our host) was so generous and kind, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived. If you want to experience true Vietnamese hospitality, look no further.

Cat Ba Countryside Homestay asub Cat Ba's, 300 meetri kaugusel haiglakoopast. Hiljuti renoveeritud majutusasutuses on konditsioneeri ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega toad ning privaatne parkla. Great location, lovely and friendly family, good food options and value for money. Two wheelers are available on rent and is a great way to move around the island. They also organise activities and make travel arrangements. Highly recommended for solo travelers and families alike.
