Catba Papillon Garden Bungalows & Resort ligger i Cat Ba og har bjergudsigt, restaurant, døgnåben reception, bar, have, solterrasse og udendørs pejs. Poolen var lækker, personalet var super flinke og hjælpsomme og så var naturen omkring helt vidunderlig. De lod os også låne scootere til at kære med til byen, det var nemt og dejligt

Gem the owner is so sweet and friendly will help anyway she can. Place is super clean and quiet. The breakfast has a big variety. Location Right in the middle of town so if you are going to the beach it’s about 20 min walk to both beaches so great location to have a combination of town and beach:)

Lan Ha Floating Homestay ligger i Cat Ba og tilbyder indkvartering ved stranden, 1,4 km fra Monkey Island Beach. Der er forskellige faciliteter, såsom privat strandområde, have og bar. We had a great time at this place. It is a great option to ditch the crowd of the cruises and explore the bay at your own pace via SUP. It is more majestic this way anyhow 😉 The hosts were fabulous. Thang arranged everything we could ask for and the even though the hostess did not speak English she was very courteous! It seems here motto was: "When in doubt, bring food" 😅 Also regarding the price. Since lunch and breakfast are for free and the entrance fee and overnight fee of the stay (roughly 15$) are included as well, it was hardly more expensive than staying in a double room in the city. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Đức Tuân 2 Motel ligger i Hai Phong, 4,4 km fra Hai Phong Operahus, 5,7 km fra Vincom Plaza Ngo Quyen og 44 km fra Tuan Chau Havn. The host was super helpful and friendly, the location is quiet but just around the corner from busier streets making it perfect. We had a great stay :)

Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og eget badeværelse. 100% clean, very cozy and beautiful room. Breakfast was free for customers and they had very good coffee and smoothies. The bungalow was very cute. I would absolutely repeat!!

Very clean. Good location for eating. People running the hostel are super nice. Daughter speaks English and mother a wonderful lady. Is in alley of main road and quiet. May be a bit difficult to locate at first. Big backpacker plus is it has an elevator.

CornerCatBa ligger i Cat Ba og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition og balkon. Ejendommen har bjerg- og søudsigt og ligger 1,3 km fra Tung Thu Strand. We had the best time in CornerCatBa. The host family couldn’t be any kinder. Thanh helped us to book Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay tour, transfers from/to Hanoi and Ninh Binh, did the laundry for us, recommended restaurants and cafes and cooked delicious breakfasts. She also helped to arrange a taxi for us to take us to Cat Ba National Park and even prepared bahn mi, snacks and water for us for free. The location of the accommodation was also great away from all the noise of Cat Ba Town with a beautiful view of the lake. We felt very special to experience Vietnamese hospitality and authentic experience. Thanh (our host) was so generous and kind, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived. If you want to experience true Vietnamese hospitality, look no further.

Great location, lovely and friendly family, good food options and value for money. Two wheelers are available on rent and is a great way to move around the island. They also organise activities and make travel arrangements. Highly recommended for solo travelers and families alike.
