She also helped to arrange a taxi for us to take us to Cat Ba National Park and even prepared bahn mi, snacks and water for us for free. The location of the accommodation was also great away from all the noise of Cat Ba Town with a beautiful view of the lake. We felt very special to experience Vietnamese hospitality and authentic experience. Thanh (our host) was so generous and kind, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived. If you want to experience true Vietnamese hospitality, look no further.

I really like the guesthouse. It's out of the town and quiet. The owner and the whole family are amazing. You can get food there, book tours, get motorbikes or just relax there.

My friend had staying time here before and recommend it for me. I'm very pleasant during time staying here, room is clean and well decoration, Tung is very helpful, he supported to book limousine bus from Hanoi and back for us and suggesting wonderful Halong bay tour. Besides, location is good to walk and sighseeing walking street, beach and city.

Wow!!!! This place was perfect!! Great location, super clean, i mean so clean you could literally eat off the floor!! Beautiful smoking lounge on the rooftop. Great location with a short walk to the center. We had breakfast every morning prepared by the owners wife that was absolutely delicious and the highlight was when the owner Mr Throng would come up to your table each morning with his own home brewed fruity Rice wine and pour you a shot with him and say “This is how we say good morning in vietnam” and believe me it was good, so good i asked him for a second round ;) Mr throng was very helpful with booking us an excursion the first day and renting his bike, he even pulled out a map of the island explaining to us in detail what route to take to get to the near by attractions and how long it would take and timed it perfectly so that we would reach the Jetty on the otherside of the island on time for a beautiful sunset. he even advised us about the money exchange rates in Cat ba advising us to try our best to pay by card or local currency and to save our dollars to exchange them in a bigger city so that the we would get a higher rate. his genuine character and warm personality made our stay in Cat ba a memorable one for sure! Would definitely without a doubt recommend Cat ba central homestay to anyone that is planing to visit and would definitely stay here if we ever return to cat bar in the future!!!!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Cat Ba Santorini Homestay is a recently renovated homestay situated in Cat Ba, 1.2 km from Cat Co 2 Beach. Absolutely loved our stay at Cat Ba Santorini Homestay! The host and his family are extremely nice and welcoming. The room was super clean and spacious, had everything we needed, and was very quiet at night. The host also helped to do the laundry for an extra charge. Definitely recommend! If we ever end up in Cat Ba again, would be happy to stay at this homestay again! :)
