Absolutely incredible place, our best in Zanzibar by far. The villa in perfectly maintained, the chef’s food is best we had so far. Ralu and Lee and very welcoming. Really really recommend.

Yulia is an great host! You will need at least one hour to eat your AMAZING and huge breakfast. I had the best time and left several days later than planned because of how relaxing and chill the hostel was. It's clean and safe. It's a 10-15 min walk from the beach. There are nice local and touristic restaurants around. There are a couple shops and fruit stands near the property.

The owners of this place are just wonderful, they are warm and welcoming, we felt very safe and loved to stay here! The food was great and also the dessert is very recommendable :) We loved all the animals walking around, every chicken has her own story. There were also 5 kitten and their mother, it was great fun to watch them run around and play together! We would recommend this place to everyone going to Nungwi!

Bivanje na lokaciji Mama Root je zagotovo ena izmed najprijetnejših in najizjemnejših izkušenj. Namestitev stoji na pečini nad morjem in le nekaj korakov se spustiš do prečudovite bele peščene plaže, ki te ponese v sinji ocean. Tukaj lahko vsakdo najde svoj raj - tisti, ki ljubi sonce, kakor tudi tisti, ki se pusti razvajati v senci. Jedilnica je postavljena na rob objekta od koder je prečudovit razgled na morje, na dogajanje na plaži in ob večerih tudi na nepozabne sončne zahode. Pomembno je to, da je to hiša miru. Zjutraj ti postrežejo z zajtrkom iz ponudbe - sladek ali slan zajtrk, zagotovo pa pri zajtrku ne gre brez sadja, domačega čaja in kave z zelišči. Prav tako lahko gostje uživajo ob kosilu in večerji (pripravlja se le za goste namestitve). Skozi ves dan je na voljo pitna voda, kakor tudi druga hladna pijača. Gostitelja sta super človeka. Trudita se odgovoriti na vsa vprašanje popotnikov. Prav tako rada priskočita na pomoč pri organizaciji izletov, prevozov in drugih dogodivščinah.

Nastanitev Zanzistar Lodge se nahaja sredi vasi v Jambiani, v neposredni bližini plaže. Ponuja zunanji bazen s teraso za sončenje. We loved staying in the Lagoon room on the beach. Perfect location and laid back atmosphere. The room was clean and functional, and the service at the beach bar and banana restaurant were both great. Loved exploring the beach at low tide.

The hosts, the food and the service were exceptional. Helwas is a small family hotel with a great, friendly atmosphere and top accommodation. We were group of 5 and we had amazing time at Helwas! Situated on a private sand beach overlooking the Indian Ocean, Zanzibar House in Matemwe features a swimming pool and bar. Scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities are also available. I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again!
