I recently stayed at a newly built hotel in Ponta Delgada for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The modern design and fresh ambiance were immediately noticeable. We used the convenient self-check-in option, which was quick and easy. Despite our early morning checkout, the hotel kindly prepared a special breakfast for us, showcasing their excellent service. The hotel featured a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor and an inviting pool area, though we didn't have time to use the pool.

We like that the beds were very comfortable and the place was kept clean, even the shared living space and kitchen. We also like that the place is close to the supermarket which is a 2min walking distance. The host was also very kind and helpful.

Rossana kindly waited for us on our arrival (1.30 am!) and despite late hour showed and explained everything we might need, there were some local type of pastries on the arrival in our room. We stayed in the bigger room with ocean view (3 of us) and a room was perfect, its big so you don't feel like there is no space for a group of friends. Balcony with a view - great! Breakfast was good, everything you need for a day full of adventure. You could also use the microwave, dishes, fridge (amazing!) located in the breakfast room. Cinnamon liquor made by Matriz house (owners) is 11/10, we wish we had checked in baggage for flight to buy some big bottles. If you need, you can also do laundry in the house (for an extra pay), but that's also is great feature of staying. Very accommodating, we have felt very welcomed and it was just GREAT! I just don't have words to recommend it enough. Thank you so much for the amazing time, you were part of it.

Ponta Delgada - Casa Rural er staðsett í Ponta Delgada, 7 km frá Portas da Cidade, og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og sjávarútsýni. Paula and João are really attentive and laid back hosts. You basically share the house they live in with them. They were very happy to explain us everything we wanted to know about the island and have us good tips on continuing our travel in Azores. We would definitely recommend staying here.
