And Teresa had the best suggestions about which beaches to go and bakeries to try and we did all of them! :)) Definitely a reason to go back to Vila Nova De Milfontes and stay here again!

There were homey riches in the room and open areas, coffee or tea anytime, and always some fruit in the dining area. It was not quite a hostel but not as stuffy as a hotel. Quiet in the mornings and an interesting mix of lodgers. Both the owners were there and available but didn’t hover, and Dorien was a lifesaver as my ‘late’ arrival spun into an ‘after midnight’ arrival, but she was there to let me in and get me settled!
