We had an amazing time. Monica made our stay so special. She made us dinner reservations, a picnic to take on our hike and was so welcoming. Homemade breakfast was a highlight as were the beautiful views. Highly recommend! Accommodation was large, clean and had everything we needed. Family of 5 with little kids-this was their favorite stop on our Portuguese holiday. The hike to the river, the donkey, the tree swing, the pool.

The customer service was exceptional. The front desk manager Rudolph was very helpful with places to eat and activities in the area. He was also open for conversation and sharing his culture with us, which we appreciated. We also appreciated the kitchen which had cooking utensils, an espresso machine and a hot water kettle.

This place is one-in-a-million. I had heard and read about it a couple of years ago on a trip down through the Alentejo coast, and drove by it. But, actually being there, seeing the place, and spending the evening with fellow travellers and our host, wow.
