Star gaze is a wonderful place. The staff were excellent, genuinely lovely people who couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast on the balcony taking in the views of Ella was very special. The views from our room were breath taking.

The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. They can organize a scooter for rent or a tuktuk (taxi) if needed. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Eagle View Villa.

They even made me pancake so i wont get hungry on the train to Kandy

This is our favorite host in Sri Lanka. The family running this place couldn’t be nicer, they made us feel at home immediately (not only with fresh juices they made). The room we’ve stayed in was very cozy, comfortable and very clean. In the mornings we’ve opened the window to listen to the birds (the garden around the house is amazing and the area is very quiet(!). It’s the perfect place to relax before hiking. Another highlight is homemade super tasty breakfast. Don’t hesitate to choose this place if you’ll be in Ella. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality.

Beautiful views, Spacious room, comfy bed! Amazing & friendly staff. Extremely helpful and attentive. We had both our dinners and breakfast here and it was definitely the best Sri Lankan food we have had so far. Location is 20 min walk to town - which we liked a lot but could easily get a tuk tuk which would take less than 5 minutes.
