Offering a garden and garden view, Malabar home stay is situated in Jaffna, 3.2 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple and 3.5 km from Jaffna Railway Station. This was an enchanting stay in a residential suburb not too far outside of the main Jaffna city. The house is 150 years old, and it does feel like staying in an old mansion - with the giant keys and fancy doors. The guesthouse owner was very kind and helpful, and made me delicious food for dinner. He also assisted with laundry for no charge. There is no heated water, but there is a built in "fountain" in the wall, which added to the old-timey feeling.

Our stay with Tommy and his family was truly wonderful! Tommy takes care of his guests and is always ready to help! He has a fantastic family and his mother is a master chef! DELICIOUS FOOD! One of the best we ate in Sri Lanka! The tents were great - darkened, fans inside, comfortable mattresses and plenty of space in front for a comfortable rest! We highly recommend this place to relax! ☺️

Located just 1.3 km from Jaffna Railway Station, Tony's Garden House Back Packers inn offers accommodation in Jaffna with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Try all the breakfast options if you stay several days (sometimes including fresh mango slices from a tree in their yard), and it seems common to do so for weeks at a time or even a whole month. Definitely appreciated the water bottle refilling service and the bike rental. The staff are a great team aiming to please, full of smiles and consideration, and the room rates are a great bargain. Play basketball with the local club on weekends & enjoy the park any time. The wifi wasn't blazingly fast, but it was stable. Found a good book to read on their little shelf. They can advise & arrange visits to local sights.

Sunflowers Canada House, a property with a garden, is located in Jaffna, 3.1 km from Jaffna Public Library, 3.5 km from Jaffna Fort, as well as 3.6 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple. This is a very charming, impeccable guesthouse with a small number of rooms. I had an upper room in the house, spacious, private, with great working electrical, lighting and AC, a large comfortable bed, and lots of natural light. The room includes an ensuite bathroom and has access to a well-equipped shared kitchen. The entire unit is meticulously clean and well-maintained, on a far higher standard than most places I have stayed in here. The lodge is located in a very green, leafy neighborhood, probably one of the nicer neighborhoods of Jaffna. It isn't close to anything much, but the restaurants and cafes you do find are very good. Note that the lodge is difficult to find, as it is located on a side alley that is not on the map. Follow the signs posted at street corners and you will find it!

Set just 1.6 km from Jaffna Public Library, Flamingo Villa offers accommodation in Jaffna with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Excellent customer service. The only property is a 5 minute walk to the Jaffna railway station. This was very convenient for me as I was taking an early morning train. The staff were very nice and did everything to make my stay comfortable. I’ll definitely be back

Nallur Holidays Inn in Jaffna provides adults-only accommodation with an open-air bath and a shared lounge. This guest house features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The staff was really friendly, the lady working there helped us with everything and was very considerate. There are a lot of sitting areas where I could study and not be bothered by the noise from the city. We ended up staying longer than our booking and this was not a problem.

Set within 400 metres of Nallur Kandaswamy Temple and 2.4 km of Jaffna Railway Station, Nallur Residence features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Jaffna. We had a great time, where the staff went above and beyond for our needs with delicious local breakfast, many great recommendations, and scooter rental. A great location near the Nallur Temple and good restaurants.
