Very homely, room was large and clean with good airconditioning. The host was super nice, helpful and friendly, always around to offer help. His wife makes the most delicious home made Jaffna food, try the mutton and crab curry. The place is on a very quiet street, however, it was easy to get a tuk tuk in and out of town or to any place of interest.

Facing the seafront in Delft East, Delft Village Stay has free bikes and a garden. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a sun terrace. Phenomenal! Tommy has something very special going on at Delft Village Stay. The accommodation, facilities, vibe and island itself are excellent. I can't recommend this place enough.

Located just 1.3 km from Jaffna Railway Station, Tony's Garden House Back Packers inn offers accommodation in Jaffna with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Tony and his crew are extremely helpful and nice people. It is always a pleasure to be welcomed with a warm smile. Room and common toilet are very clean and confortable. They are basic but more than enough for the price. Breakfast was delicious (it is a pitty that I could have it only one day) and I liked also the water refilling station. Tony helped me to organise my trip around Jaffna penninsula and Delft island. It was a pleasure to be hosted in Tony's Garden House inn and would repeat with no doubt.

Allens home stay, a property with a terrace, is set in Jaffna, 1.7 km from Jaffna Railway Station, 2.6 km from Jaffna Public Library, as well as 3.1 km from Jaffna Fort. Everything. Super friendly and helpful host, lovely veranda and garden, copious cups of tea, great breakfast, comfortable bed and a bathroom where everything works. This is much, much better than you would expect for the price. if you are going to Jaffna book it.

The young couple hosts were so friendly and helpful. They invited us to the Hindu festival which was amazing experience. The house is beautiful and very spacious and clean. The living areas are shared but with no one else booked in we enjoyed it alone. Very good air conditioned living area and great kitchen with all you need. Would definitely stay here again.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ratnam Hotel Jaffna is situated in Jaffna, 2.8 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple and 4.8 km from Jaffna Railway Station. First of all, I want to thank the Host for allowing us an early check in (5am). I was travelling with my mother and father from colombo by bus and we were tired after the journey and we wanted an early check in. The host, helped us with bus booking and early check in without any extra charges. The caretaker was awake at 5am to see to it that we were comfortable with out check in process. We stayed at this farmhouse for three days and it was just splendid. Bit away from the town, the property and the rooms were very spacious and had all amenities. Just the right way to end our Sri Lankan Tour. A relaxed laid back stay. Thank you very much for making us comfortable. Special thanks to Mr. Surendran and Mr. Piraseen. Highly recommended.

Staff are very helpful, room and the wash rooms were super clean, good air conditioning and delicious Srilankan breakfast, we got a large family room, wash room was very big and spotless clean. made my stay very comfortable

D'Villa Guest House, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Jaffna, 2.3 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, 3 km from Jaffna Public Library, as well as 3.4 km from Jaffna Fort. wonderful place to stay. the outside patio is great to chill and read a book or meet some fellow travelers. we liked the environmental responsibility of the host: he supplied water for his guests so they don’t have to buy so many plastic bottles. every guest house should offer this. Wi-Fi worked very well.
